Back Where It All Began -
The Final Chapter is Complete

Hello Friends,
I wanted to share a special update with everyone who has been following the journey of The Art of Wrapping Rocks.
This past week, I returned to the very lake where my rock wrapping journey began years ago. Standing on that shoreline again, surrounded by the same peaceful beauty that first inspired me to pick up a stone and wrap it with leather, I couldn’t help but reflect on how far this journey has come.
It feels especially meaningful because while I was there, I completed the final chapter of the book.
After years of creating, photographing, writing, teaching, and refining, the manuscript is finally complete.
Now comes the final stage—editing, layout, proofreading, and all the finishing touches that will transform the manuscript into the beautiful book I’ve envisioned. There is still work to do, but the finish line is finally in sight.
I’m incredibly excited to share The Art of Wrapping Rocks with you soon. My hope is that this book not only teaches the techniques of wrapping rocks but also shares the joy, creativity, mindfulness, and connection to nature that this art has brought into my life.
Thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and for believing in this project. Your support has meant more than you know, and I can’t wait to hold the finished book in my hands and share it with you.
I’ll continue to send updates as I move closer to publication.
With gratitude,
Lori Marshall
